With an electrowelded and stabilized carpentry structure, the paneling is managed entirely by Siemens digital brushless motors that allow folding according to a drawn profile. All axes move on linear guides and slides, the movement is achieved by means of ball screws with transmission to the brushless motor by means of high performance timing belts. The paneling system allows performing positive and negative folds, with a maximum height of 150 mm. The maximum width of the processable sheet can be 1.000, 1.500 or 2.000 mm for a maximum thickness of 1,5 / 2,5 mm. The paneling system is equipped with a range of folding tools (manual fixing), a centering and support level plan equipped by spheres and a pneumatic cylinder that allows tilting the plan by facilitating the centering and the handling of pieces.
The entire system is fixed on a base made of electrowelded carpentry, on which the paneling machine and the robot are fixed; this allows an easy positioning and floor alignment, reducing the installation and starting times of the plant
The six-axis anthropomorphic robot integrated in the cell can work virtually with any type of panel to produce. Extremely flexible and versatile, it is perfect for panels handling for shelving, cabinets and electrical boxes, metal furniture, elevators, household appliances, and automotive. It is the best solution for such type of efficient plants and with unbeatable cycle times. Moreover, thanks to its sturdy structure, the robot can work uninterruptedly over long times with great reliability and maximum availability.
The sheet taking device is equipped with a quick joint for an easier interchangeability with other grip devices applicable on the robot’s arm. Sheet’s handling by means of suction cups, the pick-up surface of which is dimensioned in accordance to the maximum sizes of the panel. Three dimensions are available: 170 x170 mm for maximum sheet with 1.000 mm; 300×170 mm for maximum sheet width 1.500 mm and 500×170 mm for sheet width 2.000 mm. Complete with vacuum pump, device for the expulsion of the not involve suction cups, sheet detector and double sheet detector. Permit the handling of sheets with maximum dimensions 1000 x 1000 mm and minimum dimensions 250×250 mm (bended). For dimensions lower than 250×250 mm it’s necessary a technical evaluation by our project department.
This flexible bending system is managed completely by digital solutions SIEMENS SINUMERIK with colour operator’s interface 15,6’’ wide screen Touch and operating system Siemens Operate. USB friendly and supplied with Ethernet ports for the corporate network connection. Automatic working process, unguarded.
