Punchpress - Multi-Punch Electric Turret (PCE)

The multi-punch turret Mod. PUNCHPRESS series PCE is totally electric and was created as a result of the demand for improved production times in respect to traditional sheet-based punching machines. As far as production volumes and running costs are concerned, a coil-based production line equipped with a PUNCHPRESS full electric series PCE is positioned between traditional sheet-based punching machines (appropriate far batches of up to 500/1000 pieces) and press and die production (appropriate far optimised batches saver 5000/10000 pieces). The line is consists of a uncoiler complete with a coil loading group, an electronic roll feeder and by a punching head including a big number of punch/die group divided as follows: no. 18 “B” type, no. 6 “C” type, no. 2 “D” type, no.2 “E” type, and with the possibility of Autoindex on “D” type. A shears to cut to length. IRON offers a variety of solutions for handling punched sheets obtained in this ways, for example, a conveyor belt to move the sheets, a stacking system to either store the sheets in packs or transfer them to a BENDER, matched bending line, forming systems and tangential forming systems that are capable of forming the sheets both longitudinally and transversally. The PUNCHPRESS series PCE is completely controlled by a CNC, and is by CAM software managed. Equipped with digital Brushless AC motors that allow the X axis (feed) to reach a maximum speed of 100m/min. and the Y axis (turret) to reach a maximum speed of 100 m/min. The operating time for each stroke is 50ms. The maximum obtainable nibbling rate is 500 s/min. A tolerance of±0.1mm is allowed. The PUNCHPRESS series PCE can be equipped with thick turret punches sizes and power forces from 80Kn to 120Kn. The turret is also set up to enable rapid change over of the punch/die group. A conveyor belt is used to remove the scrap.
Bender - Multi stations bending machine for progressive cadence's bend
Specification
It’s composed by two longitudinal bending machine opposed positioned and suitable for positive and negative bends on both longitudinal sides of the panel. It’s complete with two transversal bending machines, lined positioned and suitable for positive and negative bends of the head/tail, or for bends with rib, with many drawings and dimensions and related to the pieces to produce. All bending operations are symultaneously carried out by both longitudinal as transversal units, through hide time. For each complete series of bending operation, a translation phase on the synchronized strip’s belt is performed. The bending machines are distinguished for their programmation’s flexibility due to the CAM Software, and for the working in sequence to the punching machine. The stripholder unit and the bending unit are managed by interpolated axis and provided by different tools for the properly bends realization. Three different bend type (usable tools: sliding, rolling, tangential) are foreseen, depending on the kind of bend and the type of material to be obtained. The stripholder’s axis and the bend’s tool axis are equiped by brushless motors. The bending machine are completely electric. Through the use of the CAM software the bends can have different angle from 0° to 135° both positive as negative and also a bend up to 180° through two step (first step: up to 135°, second step: up to 180°) both with deflection as drop deflection. Through the CAM software a big radius bendi s obtainable, with different dimensions and radius, through a process of short multi-bends and therefore invisible. Depending on the bends to produce, special tools can be supplied in action of the bends and the pieces to produce. Dimensions and radius as per DIN 6935 Norm. The bending machines are suitable for big production batches, with high performance due to the double heads both longitudinal as transversal, and to the transfer time that is hided by longitudinal and transversal bends time. Related to a traditional bending machine, that carried out the bends of each side with four operations, the BENDER carried out symultaneously the bends of the four sides (right, left, front, back), in just one hided time.
